The Green family from Port-Harcourt, Rivers State are the winners of the 6th Season of the Maltina Family Dance All show.
It was a night of energy, excitement, refreshment and emotions at the grand finale of the family dance show that rocked screens across Nigeria for the past weeks. The five remaining families, Green, Boyle, Efiokwu, Zibe and Eghove families, battled for the top spot and the N6 million and the car associated with the spot.
Each family performed two sets of routine dances to the great delight of the guests and viewers at home. They brought it all to the stage in a last bid to win the hearts of Nigerians and consequently their votes.
While the votes were being collated, the instructors in the academy and the judges showed us that they can actually dance more than they can teach and judge. The Green family got through to the hearts of most Nigerians and was thus announced as winner of this season of the show and went home with the grand prize. The positions were announced thus:
- Green family.
- Efiokwu family.
- Eghove family.
- Zibe family.
- Boyle family.
Speaking about how the show has affected her family, Ziba Green said, “When we are at home, go to work, go to school, we don’t have time to come together to do things; though we have our family time, but for this show we’ve been together for one month, all of us in one room, we now know our dislikes and our likes.”
Ziba said about her family’s plan for the money that they will go back to Port-Harcourt, pay their tithe and invest the money in education and other ideas to move her family forward.
“I thank Maltina a lot for organizing this event, it’s really a good thing, it has helped us a lot”, Ziba said.
